Adjunct Professors

Dr. Naghmeh Arabzadeh received her B.Sc degree in applied chemistry from Tehran University in 2005 and the M.Sc and PhD degrees in applied chemistry from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2009 and 2014, respectively. She was working a postdoctoral research fellow in the Composite Research Lab (CRLab) for 2 years, since 2017, to synthesis of new composite of GelMa with application of wound healing and artificial vessel. She is currently working as an adjunct professor with Composite Research Lab (CRLab) at New Technologies Research Center and faculty of chemistry in Amirkabir University of Technology. Her research interests include synthesis of nano- and bio-composites polymers and hydrogels for different research and industrial applications such as tissue engineering, drug delivery, new drug formulation and wound healing. She is also working on environmental issues to eliminate pollutant from water media by new composite of magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers and photocatalysts. She has written journal papers, conference papers, books and patent in wastewater treatment and tissue engineering. She is professional in polymers synthesis technique and analytical experiment methods in lab

Dr. Amirsalar Khandan is currently focused on the development of integrated biosensor for bedsore and wound care application using MEMS, smart sensor and tissue engineering application for disease modeling, biological systems modeling, and drug discovery. Another research interest of Amirsalar is to develop new generation of porous scaffold using 3D print technology. He is currently working under supervision ofDr. Saber-Samandari at Composite Research laboratory (CRLab) as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. He is the recipient of the best honor researcher from Young Researcher and Elite Club of Islamic Azad University during 2015-2019
